Back From The Realm Of Domestic Bliss

The husband has come and gone again. He had been able to steal 4 weeks away from school to be back home. It was great! We did fun things, jalan jalan-ed on weekends and ate everything. Some of those I know I probably should avoid but things like that don't matter when you just want to enjoy yourself with your loved ones. We are after all true-blue food-driven Singaporeans!

Now, I am back to my husband-away routine.

I have not written for so long that there are so many things I want to say, tidbits I want to share but don't know where to start. I want to rave about the various experiences that have added colour to unavoidably monotonous adult routines: the simple, subtle but powerful National Language Class, decidedly THE best local production I have watched so far; the witty and heartfelt indie hit Juno and its equally enjoyable soundtrack which the little one is hooked to; the written word in On Chesil Beach and Three Cups of Tea that conjure up worlds other than my own.

Perhaps 1.30 am in the morning is not the best time to do this. Especially when tomorrow is another school day and I have two piles of Drama file waiting for my attention.

Before I go, two final words: REGIMENTED CLONES

This will not be the last you hear of them.

GOOD MORNING!
